Philadelphia Mennonite High School (PMHS) transforms the lives of their students through education.  They need our support though to continue fulfilling PMHS's mission.  Please encourage your congregation to give a donation through a special offering for PMHS.  Also please keep the school in your prayers.  More information about PMHS is available at www.pmhs98.org.

Mennonite United Revival Church is in its final stages of construction of their new church and community center.  This will provide more space for ministry to children and community services such as marriage counseling, job preparation counseling, health care workshops, college application assistance, providing hot meals to the needy, etc.  United Revival needs assistance to complete this building project.  Tax deductible donations can be made to Mennonite United Revival Church, 169 Knickerbocker Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237.  For more information about the church visit www.urmennonitechurch.com.

Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary offers a Pastoral Studies Distance Education Program for pastors, lay leaders, deacons and elders focusing on issues vital to ministry. The program is designed for pastors and leaders called to ministry without college or seminary training. Church Community Worker Program - Mennonite Central Committee U.S. partners with sponsoring churches or organizations to provide year round service/employment opportunities for constituent African American, Asian, Hispanic and Native American young adults in their home communities. The program is designed to promote and foster leadership development and support community efforts. Contact your MCC regional office for more information or visit www.mcc.org.

Churches Supporting Churches (CSC) is working in partnership to restart, repair and rebuild churches to redevelop New Orleans. National Clergy Renewal Program - This program offered by Lilly Endowment Inc. is intended to strengthen Christian congregations by providing an opportunity for pastors to step away briefly from the demands of daily parish life and to engage in a period of renewal and reflection. The Endowment provides grants directly to congregations for support of a renewal program for their pastor. Grant money is available from Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) for Summer Programs.  Mennonite Central Committee U.S. provides summer service/employment opportunities for constituent African American, Asian, Hispanic and Native American college students. The purpose of the program is to develop leadership skills in students while strengthening ties with their home communities.  Applications may be due as early as February. Youth Gun Violence Prevention Initiative Challenge Grants offered by the Alliance for Justice to youth groups affiliated with nonprofit organizations or government agencies. Youth Service Opportunities - Mennonite Mission Network offers short-term experiences for youth ages 14 to 20. Youth have the opportunity to make a difference in a community, make new friendships and grow in Christ as part of Youth Venture or Group Venture.

Young Adult Service Opportunities - Service Adventure provides service terms for young adults ages 17-20. Mennonite Voluntary Service provides service opportunities for all adults.
